Partners for Active Living (PAL) and Spartanburg County District 7 schools have started a club cycling team open to all interested district 7 middle and high school students.
The program is, in part, needs-based, awarding scholarships to qualified students. The idea is to expose a population of young males and females to cycling who may not otherwise get the opportunity.
Also, we hope to show Spartanburg’s youth that cycling can be a viable means of transportation and an activity they can enjoy for a lifetime.
