Recent Successes in Bicycling Advocacy:
Thanks to Partners for Active Living's negotiations with the SPARTA bus system, Spartanburg buses are now equipped with bicycle transporting racks. SPARTA bus passengers can now store their bicycle on the front of the bus, when they board it, at no extra cost.
 
With direction from Partners for Active Living, the City of Spartanburg installed 14 bike racks in downtown. PAL advocated installation of the racks and offered guidance on rack type, style, and location.
