Spartanburg County Council, Spartanburg County Planning Commission, Spartanburg City Council, City of Spartanburg Planning Commission and Spartanburg Area Transportation Study Policy Committee endorsed Spartanburg County's bicycle and pedestrian master plan in late 2009 and early 2010. This plan will guide the implementation of non-motorized transportation infrastructure for the coming years.
The plan was created by Greenways, Inc. through the financial support of the Mary Black Foundation, City of Spartanburg and Spartanburg Area Transportation Study.
